Mission Trip 2012 Hungary/Romania/Italy

Without goals nothing gets done. This is a simple truth with real big impact on life. So here are my goals for this trip.
1. That God gets glory.
2. To be open
3. To grow in faith.
4. To be ready
5.  To learn
6. To teach
7. To start
1. That God gets glory.
If I live for me and die without God getting glory form my life than my life was wasted. As I yield to Him and put my life on His path then He will revive the glory.
 2. To be open
Open to whatever God brings my way. If he calls my family to missions through this trip, then praise Him. If I get a deeper vision for the lost, then Praise to Him. I want to be open to His leading.
3. To grow in faith.
If I have surrendered my life to his service then my faith must grow. If the desire is placed on my heart to go on a mission trip and I don’t because of whatever excuse I have then I believe that would be sin not to go. It would be a lack of faith to say I can’t because of _________.  Or, I want to but….. would be a lack of faith. My faith has grown already just by stretching outside my comfort zone and writing this blog for this purpose.  As my fund raising continues to grow so will my faith. I must learn to get the “I must” and “I wants” out of my faith in replace it with this is what God has done.
4. To be ready
To be ready for whatever may be asked of me to do.
5.  To learn
I will be travelling with four very Godly men and look forward to learning much from them. I will be spending a lot of time with some great missionary’s. One established and one still fresh and new to the field this will give me two sides of missions.
6. To teach
I cannot teach what I do not know. I cannot know about foreign missions and experience missions if I do not go. I can read about missions, I can talk to missionaries, but I cannot experience missions if I don’t go and experience missions.
7. To start
Throughout the ministry that God is preparing me for I desire to go on many trips and only one of those will be the first. I pray that this trip is that first trip. As a leader in training I want to learn how to lead others on mission trips. I cannot do that if I don’t know.
If I go and come back and I say is that I had a good time then shame on me for asking others to send me. If I go and comeback with stronger faith, a better vision for missions, and story of how God got the glory then that will be worth any invest of time and money.  Please pray for me as I prepare for this journey.  If you would like to help with the finances you can do so here through PayPal here or send to Grace Baptist Church c/o Jason Mann Mission Trip 2012.  Thank you and God bless.
